A grid of generated product photographs surrounding the title “AI Design Workshop”, among them a wireframe chair, silver headphones, a blue camping kettle on ice, a stool topped by a boulder under glass, and a moss-covered shoe.

Overview

Can AI help you bring your boldest product idea to life? AI Design Workshop combines Gemini, Nano Banana, and Gemini Omni into an interactive industrial design experience. Users select or describe a product, refine its individual components, and develop the concept into a finished design package ready to share and explore.
The workshop’s opening screen on a large display, where a card labeled “Futurist chair” shows a looping aluminum chair above a “Start designing” button, in front of a wall of other product concepts to choose from.
The design workspace for an elegant aluminum chair, with a “Make it yours” panel of sliders for body cutouts and leg taper, an ellipse cutout style, and material choices, beside tabs for product, knolling, and exploded views.
The go-to-market kit screen, laying out a staged room designed by Nano Banana, the finished chair, dimensioned product sketches, and a video, next to a QR code offering to send the kit home.

Multimodal ideation & adaptive interface

Gemini generates the initial product image and a custom interface simultaneously. By reasoning through the object's physical components, it surfaces only the design controls tailored to that specific product.

Dynamic refinement & deconstruction

Nano Banana processes the user’s visual and textual edit instructions simultaneously to isolate and regenerate specific design edits. Concurrently, it deconstructs the product into a knolling layout and exploded view.

Consistent environmental staging

Leveraging a deep understanding of 3D geometry, Nano Banana generates a highly consistent, photorealistic room and intelligently stages the product alongside curated, matching objects.

Comprehensive go-to-market kit

While Gemini Omni creates various motion-based assets that showcase the object, Gemini compiles market analysis, bill of materials, and technical specifications into a go-to-market kit ready to help kickstart production.

A product shot of “Shrimp Glasses” on a peach background: translucent sunglasses whose frames are shaped as two shrimp, their curling antennae arching over the tinted lenses.
A product shot of a “Cuckoo clock” on a pale blue background, rendered entirely in deep blue with a little bird in its window and a pendulum and weights hanging on fine chains.
A product shot of a “Blender” on a warm yellow background, its soft mustard base under a fluted glass jar marked with cup measurements.
A product shot of a “Tree lamp” on a pale green background, its shade and rounded base built entirely from mosses, lichen, twigs, and small leaves.
Two attendees talking in front of the workshop’s touchscreen, the screen reading “AI Design Workshop” and inviting them to bring product ideas to life with Nano Banana, beneath a panel explaining that Gemini updates the design tools as the product is refined.
A visitor smiles as she taps the workshop’s wooden kiosk, another woman watching beside her on the expo floor.
